Choreography/Direction

"If Twyla Tharp and Mark Morris had a love child, that might have been choreographer Isaac Martin Lerner." - James Sohre, Opera Today

2026 Brings a Year of Creation

I'm excited to be working on 3 projects this year
A brand-new premiere with Working Title Dance Theater

A new dance film collaboration with Maddy Elliott & Retrograde Studios
A return to Des Moines Metro Opera to choreograph “King Roger” with director Chas Rader-Shieber

At the center of this next chapter is a new work, Third Person Scenario.  The piece begins with death and unfolds as a surreal portrait of five people coping with loss. The work explores how legacy and identity are constructed, debated, and exploited through collective memory.  To make a tax deducible donation to this project, click here
