Choreography/Direction

"If Twyla Tharp and Mark Morris had a love child, that might have been choreographer Isaac Martin Lerner." - James Sohre, Opera Today

Up Next

I’m currently in Iowa collaborating with longtime artistic partner Chas Rader-Shieber on The Rake’s Progress at Des Moines Metro Opera. This inventive production brings Stravinsky’s iconic opera to life with sharp theatricality and visual wit, and I’m thrilled to be contributing movement direction to support the storytelling. Performances begin July 5—learn more and get tickets at https://www.desmoinesmetroopera.org/productions/the-rakes-progress/.
