A Midsummer's Night's Dream, Des Moines Metro Opera

Britten's fantastic score was the perfect setting for Mr. Lerner's first time Assistant Directing for a major opera company. Chas Rader-Shieber’s clever take on the classic Shakespeare tale had audiences hooting and hollering for more as the musicians lead by Maestra Elizabeth Askren swept them away.
