Even When I Close My Eyes

Mr. Lerner’s university choreographic debut took place at Adelphi University with the creation of Even When I Close My Eyes. The work explores themes of multiculturalism, connection, and separation—what it means to come together and drift apart. Set to the music of Osvaldo Golijov, whose compositions weave together diverse languages and cultural influences, the piece reflects a richly textured portrait of the human spirit.
